Our Story

How we're building a life that feels good.

This is the honest version. How two people went from a normal flat in Austria to a vegetarian life on the move, one decision at a time. The food, the choices, and the couple stuff in between.

The decisions that added up.

Some of this was planned. A lot of it wasn't. But looking back, every choice moved us a little closer to a life that actually feels good.

Chapter 01

Growing up together

Long before the cameras and the no-fixed-address idea, it was just us. Two people growing up, making plans, and figuring life out together.

  1. Austria

    We got together

Before any of this, it was just the two of us.

This is where it started. Mina was already vegetarian by then, Res still ate meat, and neither of us had any idea where this would go. Just the two of us and a lot of open questions ahead.

    We got together
  2. Austria

    Growing into normal life

Safe, familiar, ours. Until it started to feel small.

We finished school, moved into our first apartment, and built the normal life you're supposed to build first. It was safe and it was ours. It also slowly started to feel too small.

Chapter 02

The trip that made us a vegetarian couple

Mexico and Florida were the first time life somewhere else felt real. Not forever, not perfectly planned. But long enough to change something we didn't see coming: how we eat.

  1. Mexico & Florida

    Six months away

The trip where Res stopped eating meat. For good.

Before we left, Res decided to just try going meat-free for the trip. Eating meat on the road felt complicated anyway, and Mina had been vegetarian since she was a teenager. He never went back. Somewhere between Playa del Carmen, Mérida and a lot of shared plates, we became a vegetarian couple. Food turned into something we do together.

Chapter 03

The decisions

At some point the idea stopped being an idea. In 2025 we started changing the everyday stuff. Not one big movie moment, more like a lot of small decisions that added up.

  1. Austria

    We cleaned up the everyday

Alcohol gone, coffee gone, more movement in.

We stopped drinking alcohol and quit coffee. We got serious about moving, trained for a half-marathon, and worked out that even on a vegetarian diet you need real protein to feel good and have energy. Around the same time we started the YouTube channel.

    We cleaned up the everyday
  2. Austria

    We gave up the flat

The idea became real on paper first.

This was the point of no return. We gave up the apartment and started cutting the things that kept us tied to one place.

  3. Austria

    We moved out

Less stuff. A much bigger question.

We sold the car, moved out, and left with a lot less stuff and one big question: what happens if we actually follow this?

Chapter 04

Living it for real

Southeast Asia is where the life we kept talking about turned into actual days. Cooking, working, training, eating well, and figuring it out as we go. Not always smooth, definitely not paradise content.

  1. Langkawi

    Southeast Asia started

Savings, two cameras, no perfect plan.

We started in Langkawi with our savings, our cameras, and no perfect plan. It felt exciting, a little chaotic, and exactly like the start of something bigger.

  2. Vietnam & Malaysia

    Finding our rhythm

Markets, home-cooked food, workdays, real life.

Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Georgetown, Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur became more than stops on a map. They became market runs, vegetarian meals we cooked ourselves, workdays, and the first real rhythm of this life.

    Finding our rhythm
  3. Bali

    Bali, the honest version

Beautiful, expensive, real. Not just paradise.

Bali was beautiful, but it wasn't just paradise content. It came with costs, workdays, little frictions, and the kind of normal moments that made the whole thing feel honest.

    Bali, the honest version
  4. Thailand

    Thailand and new routines

Good food, training, and a steadier rhythm.

Thailand brought new routines, good food, training, workdays, and another chance to follow whatever felt exciting next.

Chapter 05

What we're building now

Moray Moments is how we follow what actually excites us: vegetarian food that makes us feel good, intentional choices, real couple life, movement, and showing how we build it. No perfect plan. Just following our biggest excitement and enjoying the ride.

  1. Now On the move

    Moray Moments

    Follow your biggest excitement.

We make videos about the food, the decisions and the moments we actually care about. The goal was never to make life look perfect. It's to build something that feels good, and bring you along while we figure it out. Next up: we can't wait to cook in our own kitchen again.

Let's see how it all plays out.
